FOUR Frome College students will have work exhibited in the young adults section of the new-look Frome Library.

Ben Dorgan, Zoe Oswin, Harriet Brockway and Maddie Owen are among several dozen students who rose to the challenge to produce artwork on suggested themes of book or reading related imagery.

The four winning entries have been digitally enlarged to a metre square.

Librarian Wendy Miller- Williams said: "We were thrilled at both the number of entries and the extremely high standard of work presented to us.

"Judging was very difficult but we chose four great pictures that also complement each other magnificently.

"We would like to thank everyone who contributed work for the initiative.

"We are very pleased with the way the pictures have livened up this area of the library with a great splash of colour and thoughtful and creative compositions."

The Art Dept at the College must be brilliant as the work the students produce is such a high standard, I just hope that there is a shortage of art teachers so that they can get a job with those skills. Well done all
