There were children's workshops galore over the past week in the Frome area, with many Kings and Queens visiting, and pirates were even seen in the town.
The Creation Station events, which offer arts and crafts to children, were held in Mells on Tuesday and Frome on Thursday, organised by Cecily Fowlds.
She said: "At the Kings and Queens of summer workshop, we explored circles with paint spinning, paint rolling and making willow crowns.
"The highlight of the session was going outside to see what would happen when we poured paint down a length of guttering then rolled cars, balls and marbles through the paint on to paper."
The creative pirates ship was launched at Christ Church Hall on Thursday morning with a merry band of pirates.
Mrs Fowlds said: "The pirates had terrific fun. We made life-sized self portraits along with costumes, treasure maps and telescopes.
"A special mention must go to Zerena, from Cakes by Zerena, who made scrumptious pirate cakes. A welcome respite from the usual pirate fare of dry biscuits and maggots."
